Seal Application Webinar 
 

The Seal of Excelencia team will provide institutional partners applying for Seal certification an overview of the application and application process, Excelencia’s review process, TA, and resources available to support institutions as they prepare their Seal certification applications. Webinar also offers opportunity to hear from representatives of 2023 Seal certified institutions about their approach to the application as well as tips and lessons learned.

Platica Series
 

The Plática Series are cohort-based virtual conversations facilitated by Excelencia staff for institutions preparing their 2024 Seal application. Each conversation will focus on different sections of the Seal certification application and approaches to demonstrating impact, intentionality and alignment across data, practice and leadership.

Why should your institutional team attend the 2024 Seal Certification Application Plática Series?

The Plática Series supports institutional teams preparing their Seal certification application after high levels of engagement with Excelencia’s technical assistance institutes on leveraging disaggregated data, evidence-based practices, demonstrating alignment of data, practice and leadership to intentionally SERVE Latino students, while serving all students.

What are the pre-requisites to apply for the Plática Series?

Institutions applying for the Plática Series should be:

• Actively engaged with Presidents for Latino Student Success (P4LSS) by March 1,  
• Applying for certification in 2024, and
• Committed to working on 2024 application during pláticas.

Application Deadline

Applications to apply can be accessed here and are due by March 8. EXTENDED UNTIL MARCH 15

We estimate the application takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

Registration Fee

$3,000 per team of five (5) for four (4) virtual modules for a total of 12 hours of conversation.  This registration fee will need to be paid prior to attending the institute.
